CEI INSPECTOR
JOB SUMMARY: Acts as a CEI Roadway Inspector on GDOT and FDOT projects and supports the CEI Senior Inspector. Performs daily on-site observation of the construction work and ensures conformance with the project’s plans and specifications. Performs observations, testing of materials such as soils, road base, reinforcing steel, fencing, landscaping materials, Type Superpave asphalt, and concrete, and documents the results and observations electronically on a laptop computer into an internet based document tracking system called Site Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Prepares Inspectors Daily Report of Construction, observes Contractor’s workforce and equipment operations and work efforts.
  • Reviews and interprets roadway plans and specifications.
  • Performs materials testing and records results in online document tracking system called LIMS.
  • Complies with the Group Safety manual.
  • Performs and records field measurements of completed construction work pay items for payment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintains active client communications and assists the Senior Roadway Inspector, Contract Support Specialist, and Project Engineer with any work tasks they request.
  • Studies, takes, and passes required training courses for future promotion to CEI Senior Roadway Inspector.

JUDGMENT AND INITIATIVE: Work usually involves specific, established work tasks requiring a somewhat higher degree of judgment and initiative (than the Roadway Inspector). Project issues outside of general procedures are usually referred to the Project Engineer. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum High School diploma, but college level study courses in civil engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in engineering construction, materials testing, or Transportation Inspection (combined acceptable)
  • Experience performing field engineering duties for a Florida Department of Transportation certified test lab preferred.
  • Good communication and documentation skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) and an individual capable of performing in an unsupervised capacity preferred. A general knowledge of GDOT / FDOT specifications and Design Standards, and Georgia / Florida construction
  • techniques and an ability to read plans and specs is mandatory. Especially experience with GDOT / FDOT plans, specifications, policies and procedures for roadway construction, materials testing, and documentation.
  • Ability to learn new CEI Inspection duties and pass CTQP examinations mandatory.
  • Aptitude to act as a positive representative of the firm’s Core Values.
  • Dependent upon project specific requirements and Client requests, this position may require an individual with specific expertise in sub elements of construction. Some examples, although not exhaustive are: Maintenance of Traffic, Materials Testing (Base, Soils, Concrete, Asphalt, Steel), Signalization, Lighting, Landscaping, Utilities, and Hazardous Materials/Contaminated Soil.

TERMINAL MANAGER – ATL Fuel Services
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing the operations of a bulk fuel storage and distribution/facility, mobile (aviation and ground) fuel servicing equipment, direct aviation fuel servicing equipment, quality surveillance of aviation and ground fuel products, aviation and ground fuel inventory, accounting and administration. Please note: These positions are contingent upon award of the contract.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Responsible for the receipt, storage, internal handling, and shipment of petroleum products via all modes of transportation, to include ocean tanker, barge, truck pipeline, and aircraft refueling systems. Manage the operations and maintenance of bulk petroleum storage service tank systems, the interconnected pipelines, receipt headers, fill stands, direct aviation fuel servicing equipment service stations (manual/automated), and the maintenance and upkeep of pier facilities, environmental systems, and grounds maintenance. Interface with the operational activities at the location to maintain excellent communications with regard to upcoming exercises, logistical maneuvers, and other activities to ensure contractual requirements are met. Ensure assigned personnel are properly trained and meet qualifications to competently perform their duties. Orient new personnel with regard to internal personnel requirements (i.e. timekeeping, policies, etc.), job-specific duties, and location-specific policies. Plan and schedule site activities to optimize resources and facilities to meet the Performance Work Statement specifications. Prepare and submit reports or other verifying documentation as required for both local contract requirements and 2mnext requirements. Ensure that personnel maintain required safety training and perform their functions meeting prescribed safety standards, maintaining compliance with contract language. Document as required. Perform all necessary supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the workforce assigned, communicating performance expectations, areas of accountability, training requirements, and feedback to employees on a regular basis.     QUALIFCATIONS:

    Hands on experience in bulk fuel storage and distribution/facilities, mobile (aviation and ground) fuel servicing equipment, direct aviation fuel servicing equipment, quality surveillance of aviation and ground fuel products, aviation and ground fuel inventory, accounting and administration. Practical experience in the basic design and layout of petroleum facilities, component makeup and flow characteristics of storage piping systems, and the ability to read and understand basic drawings, blueprints, and system specifications is also required. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to effectively and tactfully communicate with many levels of personnel in a variety of environments. Must be able to tactfully navigate delicate situations with finesse and sensitivity. Must be detail oriented with a strong sense of motivation and drive to constantly perform at a high level of expertise. Fluent English reading and writing skills to be able to read and understand guidance for day to day work requirements. Experience in bulk fuel storage and distribution/facilities, mobile (aviation and ground) fuel servicing equipment, direct aviation fuel servicing equipment, quality surveillance of aviation and ground fuel products, aviation and ground fuel inventory, accounting and administration. Working knowledge in the basic design and layout of petroleum facilities, component makeup and flow characteristics of storage piping systems, and the ability to read and understand basic drawings, blueprints, and system specifications is also required. Recent supervisory experience in aircraft refueling operations. Experience working with bulk storage and aircraft fuel servicing operations with an emphasis in equipment inspection, operation, maintenance, inventory management, and environmental compliance. Working knowledge of all quality surveillance testing with a working knowledge of MIL-STD- 3004C , NAVAIR 00-80T-109, and accounting and inventory requirements of DoD 4140.25M. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and dependable. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including proficiency with Excel.

FACILITIES SERVICE MANAGER – ATL Fuel Services
JOB SUMMARY: 2MNEXT has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Services Manager to join its Federal Program and Construction Services team in the Northern Virginia area. The Facilities Services Manager will function in a key role assisting the Government with the management of food services, the parking program, special events, travel coordination, security monitors, custodial services and miscellaneous projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide customer support service on all facilities-related issues; troubleshooting customer issues

GENERAL MANAGER – AVIATION FUELS, ATL Fuel Services
JOB SUMMARY: Please note: This position is contingent upon award of contract. Location: Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Manage a dynamic, well established, aviation fuels team by performing all necessary functions to insure clean, dry, jet, gas and diesel fuel is available for the Airlines and Cargo Operators serving a large hub domestic airport, when and where it is needed, by providing overall management of jet fuel bulk fuel storage and distribution facilities and related system hydrant piping and ground service equipment (GSE) fueling storage and dispensing facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Responsible for the overall management and execution of the receipt, storage, handling and dispensing of jet fuel through two jet fuel receiving, storage and dispensing facilities from pipeline receiving point to delivery at the hydrant pit or truck rack. Responsible for the overall management and execution of the receipt, storage, handling and dispensing of gas and diesel through three GSE receipt, storage and dispensing facilities. Responsible for the overall management and execution of the maintenance and operation of all pipe, hydrant, pumps, filters, containment, and all related equipment for the five facilities. Responsible for the overall management and execution of fuel quality assurance, ensuring all necessary tests and records are maintained and distributed in a timely fashion, according to the A4A 103, latest revision. Responsible for overall management and execution of the reconciliation of fuel receipts and into plane fuel tickets according to information supplied by into plane agents, and insuring inventory holders maintain adequate inventory at all times. Responsible for overall management of records for the receipt and dispensing of FTZ bonded fuels and reporting same to FTZ Broker. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, transportation companies, into plane operators, airport, and employees through professional, ethical behavior, communication and regular visits. Always seek opportunities to reduce costs and/or improve operations of all five facilities. FUELS TECHNICIAN – ATL Fuel Services
JOB SUMMARY: 2mnext is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill positions at the Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, GA.   The ideal candidate would, under the daily supervision of the Lead Fuels Technician with assistance as needed from the Facility Manager, be responsible for safe and timely set-up, monitoring and transfer of fuel movements during a specific shift assignment and ensure through definitive methods that product meets or exceeds quality standards set forth; ensure all work is completed in a timely manner, contributing to a safe and efficient operation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Perform receipt, issue, storage, spill cleanup, maintenance scheduling, hazardous waste, and fuel quality assurance operations

• Perform the full spectrum of quality assurance sampling and testing as may be required, to include weekend and holiday fuel support to meet ATA 103 and ASTM D-1655, latest revision
• Sample petroleum handling equipment and systems by various methods and means, from receipt to product issue
• Perform operation, maintenance, and calibration of lab equipment, recordkeeping, and lab safety procedures
• Inspect, evaluate condition of, and maintain fuel storage tanks, pipelines, piping systems, product pump, filter, meter, gauge, and flow control mechanisms, and other petroleum system components
• Detect system malfunction/misalignment/leaks/adjustment issues, and perform scheduled and unscheduled system maintenance
• Remove, repair, and replace system components
• Complete all assignments directed by Management in a safe, efficient and timely manner as required by Company rules and regulations and all Federal, State and local laws.
